Handbuilt Mug — Opal Crackle Glaze

Hand-formed using a folding technique inspired by origami, these mugs are shaped by gently folding the clay as though it were paper. The process creates subtle planes and soft edges, resulting in an organic, wabi-sabi form that feels both structured and natural.

Finished in an opal crackle glaze, where soft milky whites and subtle pools of blue-green create a surface full of depth and quiet movement. The fine crackle pattern develops naturally during firing, making each piece completely unique.

Comfortable to hold and balanced in the hand, each mug carries its own variations in fold and surface. Finished with a soft glaze that settles into the creases, the form reveals quiet movement from every angle. Designed for everyday use, with just enough character to feel special.
