Blackheart Sassafras Cake Stand

Crafted with care and intention right here in Tasmania, this piece is made from two separately hand-lathed components, thoughtfully shaped and seamlessly joined to create a unique, sculptural form.

Each item is finished using a locally made wood butter, blending food-safe mineral oil with pure, locally sourced beeswax. This natural finish enhances the timber’s grain while providing gentle protection, making it both beautiful and functional.

Subtle variations in tone and texture are a reflection of its handmade nature, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike.
